Occupational Therapy Evaluation

Depending on the areas of need, we will complete a comprehensive assessment to gain a better understanding of your child. You'll get insights and tools as we take an in-depth look at your child's strengths, weaknesses, environment, and the activities your child needs and wants to do.
This is usually completed in your home, your child’s school or in the clinic and includes interviews with parents and teachers, standardized tests, and parent report forms. The evaluation takes from 4-6 hours and may be completed over one or several days.

After the evaluation, we'll meet again in person or via zoom to discuss results and insights. You'll get strategies that you can start using right away and recommendations for next steps. Then, if appropriate, we'll collaborate on goals together.

It all starts with a phone call! During this initial call, we can discuss your concerns and see if an evaluation might be appropriate.
