Speech and Language Pathologist - Salary Whole Child Occupational Therapy is looking for a passionate and dynamic Speech and Language Pathologist to join our growing team! This role includes providing speech and language services to children in homes, at local schools, and in our Windsor clinic. Why Join Us? What We Offer: • A collaborative, supportive team environment • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Work-from-home flexibility for administrative tasks • On-the-job training and mentorship • Relocation stipend available Duties: • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in children. • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs. • Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve patients' communication skills. • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. • Provide early intervention services for children exhibiting speech and language delays. • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Skills: • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions. • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to evaluate communication disorders effectively. • Familiarity with early intervention strategies for young children. • Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices. • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings. • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. • Passion for providing high-quality patient care and improving the lives of children through effective communication strategies.
